Scouts/Youth Centre proposal gets support

Youth Centre proposal exhibition: Monday 19th May from 8.15

Last night Goostrey parish council voted in support of Goostrey Scouts proposal to apply for planning permission for a new Scout Hut/Youth Centre and single dwelling on the site of the derelict Youth Centre on Main Road, which is owned by the Parish Council.

The Scouts and Parish Council will be holding an open public consultation meeting next Monday evening in the village hall for residents to see the plans for this exciting project.

However, they urgently need your help this evening delivering leaflets in order to publicise this meeting and progress the project.

“ If you can help, please join us at 7.30pm in the Crown Car-park this evening, Wednesday 14th May, even if you can only spare 30 minutes!”

  1. What a brilliant proposal! At last there is a real opportunity to deliver the youth centre the village has been after for so many years, and in a location that is accessible for all!!

  2. Please support this superb initiative, post you comments on this website and also on the Cheshire East planning website once planning application is submitted. Have your say and help the Scouts and Parish Council build for the future of the young people in our village.
