Gladman in Holmes Chapel recommended for refusal

The Gladman development of 190 homes in Holmes Chapel is being recommended for refusal by planners and it is interesting to note that Jodrell Bank did not object to this development – subject to their standard screening measures of certain materials used in the build to help reduce electromagnetic interference.

Knutsford Guardian article recommending refusal 9th April 2015.

It should surely follow therefore, as the Emerging Local Plan states that ‘in terms of Goostrey development needs will be largely met by Holmes Chapel’, that large developments in Goostrey such as the Shearbrook development where Jodrell Bank did raise an objection, should also be recommended for refusal.
