Scout Hut and Youth Centre Fire Warden – could you spare 1 hour a week?

Goostrey Scout Group are looking for a Fire Warden for their new Scout Hut and Youth Centre. The Fire Warden will be responsible for ensuring that the Scout Hut and Youth Centre is maintained in such a way as to minimize the risk of fire, ensure all fire safety equipment is maintained in working order and that regular users of the Scout Hut and Youth Centre are familiar with the use of the fire safety equipment and evacuation procedures. Assistant Cub Leaders (2 positions)

Goostrey has a thriving and growing Cub Pack with 28 young people who meet on a Tuesday evening. We urgently need two assistant leaders to join the team who are willing to contribute up to 1½ hours per week to assist the Cub Leader in running the section. Assistant leaders do not need to commit to helping every week and will be supported by our team of leaders and young leaders. We provide full training and the opportunity to join the Scouting family in Goostrey and help us to bring our new Scout Hut and Youth Centre to life! Please click role description below.

Caretaker

Goostrey Scout Group wish to hear from anyone interested in becoming the Caretaker for the new Scout Hut and Youth Centre. At this stage we are inviting anyone interested in this position to discuss the opportunity with the Group Scout Leader and we have yet to finalise details of the role including hours of work. This will be a paid position starting in September; we have a preference to engage someone on a self-employed basis and shall be able to provide a high degree of flexibility of hours of work.
