The simplest, greenest and most charitable way to get rid of your Christmas tree is to get involved in St Luke’s Hospice’s Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme. Click the link below and they’ll email details.
St. Luke’s: “We all ‘joyfully’ choose our Christmas tree and transport it home ready to dress for the festive period. However after 12th night when its needles are dropping the thought of taking it to the tip or chopping it up to fit into your bin is less appealing.
So, did you know St Luke’s and a team of volunteers can collect your tree on the weekend of 11-14th January 2017 for a donation? Just leave it near your entrance/on your drive.
We work with our own hospice volunteers and our lovely friends from Rotary and Round Table, SP Energy and Melody Corporation and we are also supported by Reaseheath College, East Cheshire Council, Holmes Chapel Scouts and ANSA.”
You can book your collection by visiting www.charityxmastreecollection.com.
