Here is a brief update on St Luke’s Church, Goostrey.
The church building continues to be open every day of the week from 10.00am until 2.00 pm. When you enter , please find the brief prayer cards at the back of church, and glass pebbles on the font, which can be slipped into the water.
These symbols of glass stones, are depictions of your prayers, and are committed to God, at usual services, and quiet, reflective times also. The church is steeped in prayer. Whether at home, or in the building itself.
Tuesday mornings between 10.00am and 11.30 am the Reverend Heather, is within the church to answer queries, to listen, and to pray with her, should you wish.
Services continue on Zoom every Wednesday and Sunday at 10.00am. If you wish to be included in the invitation and link, please email Heather on firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to have the weekly notice sheets, and reading sheets again please notify her.
This coming Sunday ( 14th February ) St.Luke’s hope to welcome the new Bishop of Chester on Zoom. He will be speaking, and sharing with the recipients, that morning.
