An update on the ShearBrook appeal: May 2016

The opportunity for representations by the public re 119 houses by ShearBrook has now closed.  The date for the Inquiry, open to the public, has been set to start on Tuesday 17th May 2016 and is currently estimated to last 6 working days.   Although the venue has not yet been decided it will be in the local area.

The Parish Council has engaged a barrister for the Public Inquiry:

GPC ‘Statement of Case’  [also on the 14/5579C planning page].

Gladman’s ‘Statement of Case’

Cheshire East’s ‘Statement of Case’ is due on 6th November 2015.

Next steps:  Statements of Common Ground, Proofs of Evidence and Witness names must be submitted by 19th April 2016.

The actual decision by the Inspector will take some weeks after the May public inquiry with the possibility that it might then be ‘recovered’ by the Secretary of State Greg Clark for his determination.
