Goostrey Parish Council held an Extraordinary meeting to discuss the proposed Gladman Development for 132 houses near Shear Brook and to agree an action plan; attended by about 100 residents.
They agreed to hold a Public Meeting after the Application is registered where the public can give their views and the Council will decide what position to take. [The parish council explained that they are unable to form an opinion until the application is registered.] Residents will be leafleted as to the date of the Public Meeting in due course.
The pros and cons of a Neighbourhood Plan will be discussed at the next GPC meeting on 9th Dec.
