The Parish Council meets in the Lounge in Goostrey Village Hall at 7.30 pm on the second Tuesday of every month except August. The meetings are open to members of the public and the press. The meeting is usually preceded by a meeting of the Planning Committee at 7.00 pm which is also open to the public and the press. Details of all other Committee Meetings can be found on the Parish Council website www.goostrey.info .
The Parish Office is also in Goostrey Village Hall and is normally open on Mondays from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, on Wednesdays from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm and on Fridays from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Dates when the Office will not be open eg. during the Clerk’s holidays, will be announced on the Parish Council website.

13th/16th Feb 2013 Goostrey Parish Council held 2 Local Plan Consultation information events, both very well attended.
Large scale maps of potential development sites were on show and councillors were on hand to discuss the issue of Goostrey being wrongly classed as a Local Service Centre. Cath McCubbin (Chairman GPC), “Comment to Cheshire East. The future of your village is in your hands!”
